Printmaking

Another medium with its own history and aesthetic. I tend to subvert the obvious and use cardboard, collaged discarded papers found in bins and newsprint with plates cut up, torn and reassembled. I found the drawing, gauging, washing, soaking, consequences of space and edges, being crushed, use of acid and harsh chemicals particularly suited to an exploration of the feminine/masculine relationship.
